In May 2025, the average salary in the central executive bodies of Ukraine amounted to UAH 58.8 thousand. This is 15.5 percent more than in May last year, when it amounted to UAH 50.9 thousand. About it reports RBC-Ukraine with reference to the data of the Ministry of Finance.
At the same time, the growth rate of salaries in government agencies is slightly behind the inflation rate, which during this period was 15.9 percent. For comparison, the average official salary in Ukraine in April 2025 was UAH 19.9 thousand, which is 17.9 percent more than a year ago.
According to the Ministry of Finance, in May 2025, more than 22 thousand people worked in the central state authorities. The highest average salaries are received by employees of four agencies. It is the National Commission for Regulation in Energy and Utilities, where the average salary is UAH 114.1 thousand, and 525 people work in this institution.
The second place is ranked on gambling regulation and lottery with an average salary of 96.1 thousand hryvnias, where 59 people work. Third - the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption with a salary of 91.3 thousand hryvnias (373 employees). The fourth is the Antimonopoly Committee with an average salary of UAH 89.5 thousand, with 269 people.
The average salary of government agencies reaches UAH 128.4 thousand. The highest governing salaries have at the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption - 303.5 thousand hryvnias (5 executives), in the Gambling Regulation Commission and Lottery - 287.4 thousand hryvnias (4 persons), at the National Energy Regulation Commission - 232.9 thousand (7) (7) (7) persons).
