People's Deputy of Ukraine Solomiya Bobrovskaya denied information about the need for mobilization of 500 thousand people to the Ukrainian army, stressed that such figures do not reflect real planning this year or next. She noted that the authorities have clear plans for mobilization, and called on not to scatter numbers without specifying terms.
In his comment on Radio Liberty Bobrovskaya, the importance of time in discussing mobilization needs. "Half a million people - for what time? It should be clarified. Because scattered such numbers is irresponsible," the deputy said. She explained that the planning of personal needs this year does not provide so much mobilized by the end of December.
Bobrovskaya also drew attention to the fact that in Ukraine it is impossible to "symmetrically" compete with Russian troops, because resources - both human and financial - are significantly limited. "Our answer is asymmetrical," she emphasized, giving an example of successful actions of Ukrainian forces in the Black Sea.
The deputy also expressed an opinion about the positive results of the new law on mobilization, but noted that the phenomenon of "boosification", that is, abuse of this law, has a negative impact on mobilization processes. Bobrovskaya noted that in the period from April to September, the mobilization rates exceeded the General Staff requests, but "intensive busification" undermined the work of recruiting departments and the army in general.
Also, in the context of mobilization, it is worth mentioning the comments of other officials. For example, Roman Kostenko, Secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, has acknowledged that Ukraine needs 500,000 people mobilization, but did not specify the terms. And the former commander -in -chief of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny explained that this figure is a request of the General Staff, formed taking into account the current non -complex and projected losses.
