The next meeting of the Defense Group of Ukraine in Ramstein format is pre -planned at the end of March - beginning of April. This was stated by German Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius during a press conference in Berlin after negotiations with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.
According to him, the final decision on the date of the meeting will be made next week during the meeting of the "five" in Paris.
“It will be decided when the UDCG meeting will take place. It is probably scheduled for the end of March, lately for the first week of April, ”Pistorius said.
In addition, the German Defense Minister reported that together with British colleague John Gili, they would continue to co -chairs in the contact group to coordinate Ukraine's further support. This decision is made to ensure the effective operation of the Ramstein format in the future.
The Ramstein meeting is a key international platform for coordination of military assistance to Ukraine, which includes more than 50 countries. During these meetings, partners discuss the supply of weapons, ammunition, military equipment and training in the Ukrainian military.
