NATO will continue to support Ukraine

The North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) will continue to assist Ukraine to provide a fair and prolonged peace. This was stated on February 24 by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in a video address on the occasion of the third anniversary of a full -scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine.

He emphasized the importance of increasing the financial assistance of Kiev, emphasizing that European allies are ready to contribute to Ukraine's support, in particular through reliable security guarantees.

"NATO will continue to support and stand next to Ukraine, helping it to overcome the challenges to ensure the end of this war with a fair and long peace," Rutte said.

The Secretary-General emphasized that during the years of Russian aggression, NATO member states provided significant assistance to Ukraine in the struggle for independence so that "the flames of freedom continued to burn."

“We made Ukraine stronger, providing weapons, equipment and training in the military. The courage and sustainability of the Ukrainian people is an inspiration for the whole world, ”he added.

Rutte also urged the Allies to continue Ukraine's support, emphasizing the importance of joint efforts in strengthening its defense capability and security in Europe.
