The statement was made before a meeting in Brussels on November 13, Ukrinform reports.
"Putin rejoices too early because of the dramatic situation around the world. After all, we will not only continue our support of Ukraine, we will expand it and increase it, it is from Germany. Not only in view of the protective shield for the next weeks and months, when it is clear that the Russian president will be in the daytime. The minister noted.
Berbok also commented on the topic of expansion of the European Union, emphasizing that it was in the geopolitical interests of the EU itself. Note that there should be no gray zones for safety and peace.
Earlier, Germany's Defense Minister Boris Pistorius confirmed the intention of Germany to double military assistance to Ukraine in 2024. Note that Germany was guided by the experience of 2023, when the planned amounts were quickly exhausted.
However, in 2024, Germany will reduce the assistance of refugees by giving the right to social assistance seekers of asylum only after three years of receiving a truncated assistance, compared to a half -year term, as it is now. The Federal Center will also pay a total amount of 7500 euros a year for every seeker in Germany.
