The Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Annalen Berbb, called on Kyiv allies around the world to create a "defense shield" over Ukraine to protect the country from possible Russian attacks during the winter. The application was made during a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels.
According to Berbok, the purpose of Russia is attacks on the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine, which can lead to shutdown of power supply and heat supply in winter for Ukrainians.
Germany has already assisted Ukraine, providing electric generators and Patriots. Berbok called on other allies of Ukraine around the world to give preference to similar measures and to support the country.
This initiative of Germany testifies to the growing outrage and awareness of NATO countries about the possibility of Russian aggression and the importance of protecting Ukraine from possible threats in winter.
