Ukraine becomes a pilot region for growing a new winter culture - flax. This was reported by Michelle Tereshchenko, exterior of Glukhov and the owner of the Desnaland Healthy Eating Brand, on his Facebook.
"The experimental trial areas were sown in October last year in Zhytomyr, Ternopil and Sumy regions. So far," he said.
Michel Tereshchenko believes that through climate change, such as less cold winters and too warm spring, flax can adapt successfully in Ukraine and revive the high quality textile industry that was once active in our country.
He expressed his willingness to advise and assist Ukrainian farmers who will show interest in this area.
