All votes in the House of Representatives have been canceled on Friday, and the members of the House will return to work only from February 28, which postpones the long -awaited vote for the decision to continue Ukraine's support for at least two weeks.
"Instead of stopping politicize issues that depends on the security of the state, Speaker Johnson sends a ward on a early, undeserved break, and thus exacerbates the killing military efforts of Russia and the Iranian regime at the US National Security, our jobs and the closest allies," the Whiteu representative was indignant.

In order to use Discharge Petition, it is necessary to collect signatures of a simple majority of members of the House of Representatives, ie 218. Democrats already have a petition with 213 signatures, which they prepared last year during discussions to increase the US government debt ceiling.
The new member of the Chamber of Democrats Tom Suzzi (elected after the exclusion from the House of Republican George Santos) will probably also be signed. But several progressor democrats can withdraw their signatures because they oppose Israel's military assistance.
Therefore, in order to success Discharge, Democrats in the Lower House of Congress need to enlist the support of several Republicans. For them, it is a political risk as they openly oppose their leadership. Currently, only one Republican Greg Murphy has declared the opportunity to join the petition.
The second alternative to approval of assistance to Ukraine in Congress involves the adoption of an alternative bill that would contain measures for the security of the US border with Mexico and financing of Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan.
