The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has appointed new heads in the State Tax Service and the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine. This was reported by a government representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk in his Telegram channel on Tuesday, December 31.
Thus, the State Tax Service was headed by Ruslan Kravchenko, who previously held the position of head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration. Instead, the head of the State Financial Monitoring Service was Philip Pronin, who had previously headed the Poltava Regional State Administration.
The appointment of Ruslan Kravchenko is a significant milestone for the State Tax Service, because he became the first permanent head of the department since 2021. Over the last three years, Tatyana Kiriyenko has headed the status of acting.
As for the State Financial Monitoring Service, Igor Cherkasy has been headed by Igor Cherkasy since 2014. He was released simultaneously with the appointment of a new leader, Philip Pronin.
These personnel changes are part of the broader reform in the field of public administration and control aimed at improving the efficiency of the key financial bodies of Ukraine.
