Subaru presented a new electric crossover - Trailseeker, which is derived from the Solterra model, but with larger dimensions and improved technical characteristics. Trailseeker should be an electrical alternative to a popular Outback crossover.
Despite the fact that the front of the Trailseeker is almost identical to Solterra, its feed has received the original design. As for the size, the Trailseeker is more than 15 centimeters longer than Solterra and 2.5 centimeters higher. This crossover is equipped with 18 or 20-inch wheels and has a 211 millimeters road gap, which makes it a great option for traveling outside of paved roads. The novelty in the salon is no different from Solterra: there is also a 14-inch multimedia system screen, Apple Carplay and Android Auto support, wireless charging for 15 watt smartphones and a complete household socket for 120 wads, which adds convenience in the use of electronic devices. Trailseeker will receive a two -engine installation that is more powerful than that of Solterra. Electric motors mounted on the front and rear axles develop a total capacity of 380 hp. (compared to 343 hp in Solterra). Thanks to this, the crossover is able to accelerate up to 97 km/h in 4.4 seconds (compared to 5 seconds in Solterra). The 74.7 kWh battery provides a 420 kilometers' stroke in the EPA cycle, which makes this car practical for long travel.
Prices for Subaru Trailseeker will be announced closer to launching a model scheduled for 2026. It is possible that the crossover will be available not only in the US market but also in other international markets.
