The new President of Poland made the first statement about Ukraine

The newly elected President of Poland Karol Navrotsky in his first public statement, after the election, outlined a vision of relations with Ukraine. In the post on the June 3 platform, he emphasized the importance of strategic partnership with Kiev and expressed his readiness for further cooperation.

“I look forward to continuing the partnership of our countries based on mutual respect and understanding. I think it requires not only good dialogue, but also the solution of ripe historical issues, ”Navrotsky wrote, responding to the greetings of President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.

The President also emphasized the role of Poland as a key ally of Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression. According to him, Warsaw was and remains a decisive supporter of the Ukrainian people.

"Poland has been the most rich supporter of Ukraine against Russian aggression, because no other country understands this threat as deeply as we," he said.

In the completion of his statement, Navrotsky noted that he hopes for further joint work aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and overcoming historical contradictions.

"I hope that we will work together for the sake of the common good, with the purpose of resolving the unresolved past and building a safe future," the President summed up.
