Condé Nast Traveler rated the most beautiful places on the planet based on readers' reviews and experts. The leader of the list was the Amazon (Brazil, Argentina) with its majestic tropical forests, a home for various species of plants, animals and birds.
In the second place is the waterfall Angel (Venezuela), the highest in the world, and the third place was taken by Antarctica with its various landscapes.
The top five also included Bamboo Grove Arasiam (Japan) and the Atacama Desert in Chile.
The top 10 also included the Baobab Alley (Madagascar), the Azores (Portugal), Banf National Park (Canada), Boulders Beach (South Africa) and Kemeron-Highlanda (Malaysia).
Other places in the ranking (which has 51 positions) also were Cappadocia and Pamukkala in Turkey, Caucasian Mountains in Georgia, Irish Rocks of Mohair, Cretaceous Rocks of Ethrette in France, Finnish Lapland, Great Barrier Reef (Australia).
