The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Raphael Grosssey has arrived in Ukraine within his eleventh visit since the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Russia. He intends to visit the Kyivska substation, which plays a key role in ensuring the safety of Ukrainian nuclear power.
Grosssey reported on the social network X, noting that the purpose of the trip is to evaluate the damage caused and to take measures to prevent a nuclear accident.
"I go to the Kyivska substation, which is critically important for the safety of Ukrainian nuclear power to estimate losses and help prevent a nuclear accident," he said.
The visits of the IAEA representatives to Ukraine have become regular because of the threats that the war for nuclear infrastructure. The agency constantly monitors the situation and provides expert assistance to ensure the stability and safety of nuclear power facilities.
