In Kharkiv there were powerful explosions caused by shelling by the Russian army, which led to serious destruction and victims. The mayor of the city, Igor Terekhov, announced it, noting that shelling had led to the death and injury of the civilian population.
According to the latest reports, at 4:00 pm there were two beats in the residential area of Kharkiv. The shelling affected multi -storey buildings in the Shevchenkivskyi district, where people lived. Serious damage to five -storey buildings and institute of emergency surgery is reported.
The mayor of Kharkiv considers this attack another act of terror against the Ukrainian people. One killed and 16 wounded, including four children, have now been recorded. Emergency services carry damaged buildings and install types of weapons used.
Oleg Synigubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, stated that the number of victims could increase, and all the circumstances of the incident are being clarified. Experts continue to work at the scene.
