Dynamo Kyiv was defeated in the Europa League, this time from the Hungarian "Ferencvaros". It was the fourth match in the tournament for "White-blue", and no victory, no one scored or even a point. After this devastating result, Dynamo defender Alexander Karavaev shared his vision of the causes of failure. Dynamo conducted two different halves: if in the first Ukrainian team on an equal footing opposed Ferencvaros, then in the second half of the game, the guests fully captured the initiative. The turning point was the moment with the removal of the defender Vladislav Dubinchak, who, according to Karavayev, was removed from the field for unintentional violation outside the playing field. "We had enough moments in the first half, even got into the frame of the opponent. However, the removal changed the course of the game, and after the break I did not recognize our team," Karavaev said. Dynamo veteran also commented on the arbitrator's contradictory decisions: "There was a similar situation in the match with Lazio, but then the judge did not show a red card, and here - immediately withdrew. It influenced us morally." Despite the removal, Karavayev believes that the team could fight to the end, noting the need for dedication and adherence to the game discipline: "Everyone has to understand their role and act, giving in to all one hundred, even in the minority." Karavayev thanked the fans for their support and stressed that the team should work on mistakes. "We need to draw conclusions and restore the team spirit. Our fans are worth the best results, and we must fight to justify their trust," he added.
