The State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) reported the suspicion of the oligarch Vadim Novinsky, which is charged with treason, ignition of religious hostility and hatred. The investigation claims that Novinsky actively supported pro -Russian narratives, in particular through public speaking and interviews, as well as through posts on social networks.
Novinsky, who was previously a deputy from the forbidden pro -Russian party "Opposition Bloc", maintained close relations with the leadership of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) and systematically carried out activities aimed at supporting Russia's foreign policy. After the start of a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, Novinsky left the country and hid abroad, continuing information influence to the detriment of Ukraine's sovereignty.
