The UN system coordinator in Ukraine and the humanitarian coordinator Matthias Shmale visited Zaporozhye, where he got acquainted with the work of two important facilities-the City Ambulance Hospital and the Training Center at the Higher Professional School "Motor Building". His visit emphasized the importance of vocational education and modernization of medical institutions for the restoration of Ukraine.
Impressions of the educational process at the School "Motorbud" were extremely positive. Matthias Schmale noted that vocational education is critical for the country's economic recovery. The second point of the visit was the City Ambulance Hospital, which is at the stage of large -scale renewal. Schmale stressed that an important aspect is not only the repair but also the introduction of modern technologies.
Matthias Schmale expressed his hope that the active modernization of medical institutions would be an important argument for attracting international investors. Thus, Zaporozhye demonstrates not only the desire for rebuilding, but also a strategic vision of development, which can be an example for all Ukraine.
