Pope Roman hospitalized with bilateral pneumonia

Pope Francis, who has recently been diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia is critical. This was reported by the Vatican on Tuesday, February 18, citing doctors and medical staff. The dad, who underwent a surgery to remove part of the lung, was hospitalized in the Roman clinic Agostino Dzhemelli with bronchitis last week.

Previous tests indicated respiratory tract infection and fever, but new results have confirmed the presence of polymicrobial infection, which complicated the treatment process. The pope undergoes complex therapy with antibiotics, in particular to combat bacterial and viral infections that affect both lungs.

The condition of the Pope is especially difficult because of his age and chronic health problems. Psychological and physical endurance of summer pontiffs are subjected to heavy loads, which makes treatment even more complicated. This is the fourth hospitalization of Pope Francis since 2013, and doctors have warned the need for hospitalization before the Pope agreed to treatment.

This case, along with several falls and injuries that have occurred in recent months, is a concern among believers and the public, as the difficult condition of the Pope can have serious consequences for his future activities.
