On February 14, Pope Francis was hospitalized due to exacerbation of bronchitis. According to the Vatican's press service, the pontiff had a light temperature and started drug therapy. Despite the illness, his mood remains good, and he even read a few newspapers.
In the last days, the Pope has undergone specialized tests that confirmed the respiratory tract infection. In this regard, he began hospital pharmacological therapy. Doctors evaluate his clinical condition as "satisfactory", although he has a slight fever.
The Vatican press service notes that the treatment continues under the careful supervision of medical professionals, and the condition of the pontiff does not yet cause serious fears.
