Today, on April 23, the first border pillar on the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia was installed during coordinates. This information is reported by AZERTAG, referring to the statement of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Azerbaijani Republic, Shakhina Mustafayev.
According to agreed measures after the eighth meeting of the State Border Delimitation of the State Border between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as commissions on delimitation of the state border and border security, expert groups began the process of clarification of coordinates on the basis of geodetic measurements.
The work of expert groups of both countries is currently continuing. It is noteworthy that Armenian Prime Minister Nicol Pashinyan posted a photo of the first border post on the Tavush-Kazakh section.
