Philip Morris International (PMI) has been recognized as one of the best employers in the world according to Top Employers Institute.
Every year, this International Institute is evaluating employers on compliance with high standards in the field of personnel management.
The assessment includes six HR criteria and 20 directions, including talent management strategies, creating a comfortable work environment, efficiency of specialist involvement, staff development, diversity and inclusiveness, and well -being.
"Difficult times find real leaders, and we saw it in our winners of 2024. This year, PMI was celebrated for their achievements both in the company and at the global level," said David Plinka, CEO of Top Employers Institute.
In 2023, more than 2,300 companies were certified in 121 countries. The Global Top Employer certificate received only 17 international companies, including PMI. PMI employs more than 79,000 employees worldwide.
PMI branches in 31 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region were recognized as the best employers this year.
