According to The Telegraph , the United Kingdom Ministry has acknowledged that attracting resources to the preparation of the Ukrainian military restricts the country's ability to effectively train its own troops.
This issue is gaining attention, as the situation can have long -term consequences for British defense policy.
The report states: "The Ministry of Defense acknowledges that Interflex Operation will limit the capabilities of the army to train their own soldiers." It was said that in 2023, the applications of the British Armed Forces were rejected eight times more often than 2019.
The reason is that the quarter of the training areas of the army was used to conduct the operation "Interflex" - the programs of basic infantry training, which was attended by more than 45 thousand Ukrainian recruits.
