According to the South Korean special services, the DPRK soldiers, stationed in the Kursk region, stopped participating in the fighting in mid -January. The probable reason for this decision was the great loss.
"Since mid -January, there were no signs that the North Korean troops, deployed in the Russian Kursk region, are involved in hostilities," the intelligence statement reads.
According to analysts, the DPRK has sent about 11,000 soldiers to Russia to support its Armed Forces in the war against Ukraine. Of these, 300 were reported, and approximately 2,700 were injured.
