North Korea withdrew its troops from the front after great losses

North Korea was forced to withdraw their troops from the front line in the Kursk region of Russia after heavy losses suffered in battles against the Ukrainian forces. According to The New York Times, which refers to officials of Ukraine and the USA, the North Korean soldiers who were sent to Russia together with Russian troops to fight Ukraine, have been significantly lost in number during several months of fighting.

During the three months of fighting, the number of North Korean troops decreased by half. According to the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Sirsky, the North Korean troops made up a large part of the Russian units, but their efficiency on the battlefield was limited due to disorganization and low interaction with the Russian forces. DPRK soldiers, often without armored vehicles and not spending enough time to regroup, suffered serious losses, which complicated their participation in the fighting.

Despite the withdrawal of the DPRK troops from the front line, US officials say it is a temporary decision. They believe that North Korean soldiers can be returned to the battlefield after additional training or adaptation of tactics to avoid such losses in the future.

This withdrawal emphasizes the importance of the quality of combat training and interaction between units, even when it comes to strengthening the troops by the Union States. The DPRK's troops, although characterized by high perseverance, were insufficiently prepared for the tasks in difficult conditions of hostilities in Ukraine.
