A new state agency has been established in Ukraine in the gambling market. The Government has approved the formation of the Pleititi agency, which will perform the functions of the central executive body in the field of gambling and lottery. This solution is an important step for the development of the gambling market in the country and ensuring proper control in this area.
According to a permanent representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada of Taras Melnychuk, Pleititi will work under the coordination of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Viceremier-Minister for Innovation, the Development of Education, Science and Technology, as well as the Minister of Digital Transformation. This agency will not only regulate the gambling market, but also ensure that state policy is observed in this area.
The creation of Pleititus is part of comprehensive reforms in Ukraine aimed at increasing transparency and safety in gambling. It is argued that the agency will actively interact with other authorities and the public to develop effective mechanisms for control and regulation of this sector.
