The National Energy and Utilities Regulation Commission (NERCE) has announced the planned changes in the tariffs for Ukrenergo services for 2024, in particular, for electricity transfer. According to the information received, since January 1, 2024, tariffs for electricity transmission will increase by 9%, reaching the level of UAH 528.57/MWh. It also envisages an increase in the tariff for dispatching management by 9.5%, which will raise it to 104.57 UAH/MWh.
Particular emphasis is placed on changes in the field of green electrometallurgy, which envisages an increase in the preferential tariff for the transfer of electricity for enterprises by 74%, which raises it to the level of 364.70 UAH/MWh from the previous 209.42 UAH/MWh. Such measures are designed to support production, focusing on environmental aspects.
The reactions to this decision were varied, from discussing tariffs to reflection on possible effects on citizens. All this discussion demonstrates that the country's energy industry continues its development, aiming at greater stability and advanced.
