Large -scale reform of the tax system of Ukraine will only begin after the martial law. This was reported by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Danilo Getmantsev in an interview with Glavcom.
According to Hetmantsev, one of the closest priorities of parliament is the adoption of a bill that implements DAC7 DAC7 Directive. This document provides for the duty of digital platforms to collect information about sellers operating on their sites. The bill is an important component of the Ukrainian integration process of Ukraine.
However, as the chairman of the parliamentary committee noted, the adoption of this bill can be delayed through current events in the country.
Getmantsev also stressed that the general changes in the tax system will take place in accordance with the National Income Strategy by 2030. The first turn provides for the reform of tax and customs services. The next stage is the modernization of the taxation system, in particular the income of individuals.
At the same time, he assured that until the end of the cadence of the current composition of the Verkhovna Rada, taxes are not planned. This testifies to the desire of the authorities to maintain stability in fiscal policy despite the difficult economic situation in the conditions of war.
