Advisor to the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak responded to the recent proposal of the Russian Federation to separate Ukraine. In a comment for RBC Ukraine, he noted that such a scenario is currently impossible for implementation. According to Podolyak, Russia can try to achieve its goal through the destruction of Ukraine, however, today, it is more likely to separate Russia itself.
"Today, the scenario is possible another is the separation of Russia," he said, emphasizing that Russia is still seeking to implement the plan of division of Ukraine into parts. At the same time, Podolyak added that if the Kremlin's policy, headed by Putin, Moscow will continue to try to do so, but the result will be negative for the Russian Federation.
Earlier in the media reported that Russia could transfer the United States through foreign representatives to the distribution of the territory of Ukraine into three parts. However, as Podolyak notes, such a plan will not find support among the international community.
