In Germany there was a bold robbery of the bank, which resulted in criminals abducted 10 million euros. The event happened in Lubak, where the robbers stole large sums of money, gold and securities after breaking 326 safe boxes at Deutsche Bank. According to local police, criminals rented boxes in advance, which allowed them to access the basement of the bank where valuables were stored.
The attackers hid in the room after the bank closed and, opening the safes, filled the suitcases with values. After that, they fled the car in an unknown direction. Although police are actively investigating the incident, no criminals have been found.
Immediately after robbery Deutsche Bank intensified security measures. Customers are now accompanied by bank staff and guards when they use safes. However, there has been a new problem for the affected depositors: the bank refuses to compensate for the losses.
Lawyer Jurgen Henneman, who represents the interests of the affected clients, emphasized that the main question was not whether the bank made a mistake, but in how such a robbery became possible. Deutsche Bank representatives refused to comment on the situation.
