The police of Ukraine exposed more than 60 people involved in the illegal transportation of men of conscription age across the state border in one day. The corresponding schemes were liquidated in 22 regions of the country, and the law enforcement officers handed over suspicions to the participants and organizers of these criminal devices.
Among the detected schemes are the transportation of persons outside checkpoints, forgery of medical documents, fictitious entries in the "Shlyah" information system, and others. Heads of hospitals, officials of territorial procurement centers, medical and social expert commissions, as well as civilians took part in the schemes. Organizers and performers looked for "clients" through acquaintances or closed Telegram channels. The cost of such services varied from 5 to 22 thousand dollars.
The participants of the schemes legalized the money received from criminal activities through the purchase of cars and real estate, and in some cases sent it offshore. Investigators announced suspicions of illegal transportation of persons across the state border (Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code). The suspects face up to nine years in prison with confiscation of property and deprivation of the right to hold certain positions.
