In Poland, the third unit of the Ukrainian Legion is actively formed, and the number of volunteers who are ready to sign contracts with the Armed Forces and undergo training with NATO instructors is increasing. According to the ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Vasyl Bodnar, on February 28 it is planned to sign new contracts, and it is expected that the number of recruits will be greater than in the previous waves.
Bodnar noted that today is the collection of applications for service in the Ukrainian Legion, and there is already a great demand among volunteers. Most of them are Ukrainians and Ukrainians living in Poland, but there are also volunteers from other countries such as Italy, Spain, Estonia, the Netherlands and others.
The preparation and training of a new unit is expected to provide even more powerful support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in war.
