The Polish police are preparing for a farmers' protest on March 20 and expect 70,000 participants

The Polish police are preparing for the farmers who planned for Wednesday, March 20. According to law enforcement officers, 580 actions are expected to attend about 70,000 people.

Law enforcement officials emphasized a huge scale of safety measures necessary to ensure the safety of all citizens. Traffic police units will also act to minimize the inconvenience for road users.

It is noted that farmers plan to protest within 12 hours, starting at 7:00. They are intended to block roads, causing obstacles to transport to draw attention to their requirements. In particular, they urge people to spend this day with them in solidarity.

During the preliminary protest of farmers in Warsaw on March 6, clashes between the police and participants of the action occurred. Farmers threw pavement and pyrotechnics from law enforcement officers, in response, police used tear gas and sticks.

Unfortunately, 14 police officers were injured as a result of these events, and 26 protesters were detained and accused of attacking law enforcement. In addition, the Main Police Department in Warsaw searched for 14 more who probably participated in protests and violated the law.
