On October 8, Polish farmers plan to start a protest that can last until December 31, 2024. According to the State Customs Service of Ukraine, it is possible to block the movement of freight vehicles at the checkpoint "Medica - Shehyni". The Polish side informed about the planned strike, which can create difficulties for transporting goods across the border.
Currently, vehicles at the checkpoint are carried out in normal mode. However, in the event of a strike or changing the situation, Ukrainian customs services promise to promptly inform about the further development of events.
Polish farmers' protests may be related to problems in the domestic agricultural market and the requirements of support from the authorities that caused a wave of dissatisfaction among agrarians.
