The American actor Harris Julin died

At the age of 88, American actor Harris Julin died-a performer of bright roles in cinema and theater, which became famous for participating in the films "Face with Scar", "Training Day", "Another woman" and dozens of other projects. His family and manager reported the death of the actor, reports The Hollywood Reporter. The cause of death was the cardiac arrest.

Harris Julin was born on November 5, 1937 in Los Angeles. His early years were full of trials - his parents left him shortly after birth, leaving the baby at the doors of the orphanage. The boy was adopted by a family of Russian-Jewish descent, which gave him the name of Julin.

The acting talent was found in Harris in his teens-it was during the bar-mitzva that he felt a call to the stage. He studied at the University of California in Los Angeles, after which he began his career on the theater stage. Among his first performances are classic productions "Summer Night's Dream", "Richard III", "King John".

In the movie, Julin made his debut in 1970 in the end of the road. During his long career, he has starred more than a hundred films and television series, often playing the role of the background. Despite this, the actor was remembered by the audience deep, charismatic images, including the role of corrupt police mela Bernstein in the cult criminal drama "Face with Scar" (1983).

In 1996, Yulina was nominated for the Emmy Award for a role in the popular Fraser television series in the category "The Best Supporting Actor in Comedy TV series".

Harris was married twice in his private life. His first wife, actress Gwen Wells, died in 1993. In 2005, the actor married for the second time - with actress Kristen Lawman.
