Harris Julin was born on November 5, 1937 in Los Angeles. His early years were full of trials - his parents left him shortly after birth, leaving the baby at the doors of the orphanage. The boy was adopted by a family of Russian-Jewish descent, which gave him the name of Julin.
The acting talent was found in Harris in his teens-it was during the bar-mitzva that he felt a call to the stage. He studied at the University of California in Los Angeles, after which he began his career on the theater stage.
