Ukrainian refugees in Germany provide an accelerated opportunity for employment in the framework of a new approach, which will be applied to 200,000 Ukrainians who have successfully completed the integration course.
According to Germany's statement, this new approach concerns providing Ukrainian refugees with employment in large companies. Currently, only about 20% of working refugees receive work in Germany, while in other countries, such as the Netherlands, this figure is 70%.
The new approach implies that more than 400 employment centers in Germany will actively attract Ukrainians to consult and promote their accelerated integration into the labor market. Entrepreneurs will also be supported in the employment of Ukrainians, even if they do not speak German at a high level.
This initiative aimed at highly qualified employment of Ukrainian refugees, which is in line with market demand, where more than 80% of vacancies are designed for skilled workers. It is noted that this will not only contribute to the effective work of German companies, but will also provide Ukrainians with new experience and professional skills that can be useful when returning home.
"If they are successfully integrating and working abroad, it will inevitably affect the restoration of Ukraine," said a special representative of refugee integration into the labor market.
