A large forest fire broke out in the prestigious Los Angeles area, Pasifi-Angeles, which caused more than 30,000 residents to evacuate. The fire caused the formation of dense smoke clubs that closed part of the city, creating serious threats to the locals.
According to Kristin Crowley, the head of the Department of Fire Protection of Los Angeles, the fire threatens more than 10.3 thousand households and 13.2 thousand structures. The flames are actively spreading, and firefighters continue to fight it. The Fire Department also warned of possible evacuation for areas located in the west Pasif-Pissides.
In addition, about 17,000 people in Los Angeles County were left without electricity due to damage to the power lines during a fire.
The fire quickly spread to an area of 486 hectares in just a few hours, and the drought and strong wind only contributed to the exacerbation of the situation. California forestry and fire protection services are actively working on the elimination of fire.
