Law enforcement officers conduct a large -scale operation to expose illegal schemes of crossing the border with military men. On Friday, January 17, the National Police reported more than 200 searches in 19 regions of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, illegal schemes are implemented through:
- Fraud : giving fake promises for legal departure.
- Document forgery : creation of fake medical certificates, permits or other papers.
- Unauthorized interference in electronic registers : entering false data on persons to be mobilized.
- Breach of officials : obtaining permission to cross the border for a bribe.
The investigation is under the procedural guidance of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine. Police noted that the purpose of the operation is to expose persons who organized illegal equipment.
The details of the cases and the results of the searches will be made public after completion of investigative actions.
