The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, stated that he had contacts with Trump

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that he does not need intermediaries to maintain contacts with the US President-elect, Donald Trump. He announced this during the meeting of the All-Ukrainian Congress of local and regional authorities.

Zelensky emphasized that he has direct meetings and conversations with Donald Trump and does not need outsiders or politicians to support these relations. "I am talking to President Trump. We had several meetings, conversations, mediators. In this, I don't need other countries, different politicians, who use this as PR," said the President of Ukraine.

In addition, Zelensky criticized Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who tried to act as a mediator in issues related to Russia. Zelensky noted that Orban has no leverage over Russian President Vladimir Putin, stressing that Ukraine needs direct relations with the US, not intermediaries from Europe.

"We are a strong country, we showed it on the battlefield during all of Putin's aggression. Anyone else in Europe having this experience right now? No one's. Does Orban have such an army? No. How will he put pressure on Putin? A joke, a smile? Let him leave it to himself," added Zelensky.

The president also stated that Prime Minister Orban, who is trying to mediate in issues related to Russia, has no right to influence Ukraine's diplomatic relations with the United States. "I won't let him and people like him," concluded Zelensky, emphasizing the importance of direct relations with America.
