The Warm Winter family support program is aimed at low-income families and IDPs

The Government of Ukraine is expanding the social program "Warm Winter" to help more low -income families and families of internally displaced persons (IDPs). Prime Minister Denis Shmigal has said that the program would now cover those families that for technical reasons did not receive help last year.

"Today, the government will improve another important social program-Warm Winter," the Prime Minister said in his Telegram channel on January 21. "These are payments for every child from low-income IDP families and families.

The Warm Winter program provides important support to families in difficult circumstances, in particular during the winter. In December 2024, more than 600,000 Ukrainians received assistance through this program, UAH 6.5 thousand was paid for each child.

The funds obtained under the program can be used for the most urgent needs, including the purchase of warm things for children, which is especially important during the cold season.
