Alexander Usik's promoter, Alexander Krasyuk, spoke about the possibility of trilogy with Tyson Fury, emphasizing the importance of this match from a commercial point of view. According to Krasyuk, the third battle between Usik and Fury would be a big business project, which is interesting to the local boxing tycoon of Turkey Al Ash-Sheikh, which has a significant impact in boxing world. However, Krasuk stressed that this should not affect the outcome of the battle.
The promoter also specified that the issue of trilogy was discussed after the first bih of the battle, when it became clear that Tyson Fury did not win. The contract enshrined the condition of the match-relevance, and therefore the possibility of a trilogy appeared after Usik won the first match. If Tyson Fury wins in the second battle, it will create the conditions for the trilogy, but it is now important to keep the focus on the revenge.
The revenge between Usik and Fury will take place on December 21 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. In May this year, Usik won the British, becoming an absolute heavyweight champion.
