Today, the UN Security Council has adopted a resolution that envisages the introduction of humanitarian pauses in the Gaza Sector. The resolution was supported by 12 members of the Council, while the United States, Russia and the United Kingdom abstained from voting.
According to the resolution, it is envisaged to introduce "enough days" of humanitarian pauses to ensure that the peaceful residents of the Gaza sector.
It should be reminded that in October, Hamas fighters staged a large -scale invasion of Israel, which led to the response of the Israeli army as part of the Iron Swords Operation. Subsequently, a ground operation was announced today by the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyhah's expansion in the third phase.
This resolution is an important step in trying to reduce the humanitarian crisis in the region and provide security and assistance to peaceful residents of the Gaza Sector.
