The head coach of the national team of Ukraine Sergey Rebrov shared the criteria by which the team composition was formed and reported the possible appearance of new players.
In a comment before a friendly match against Canada, the mentor stressed that a stable high -level football player game is a major factor for getting to the national team.
You need to show a stable game. This is very important. I do not have personal sympathies - everything decides level and stability. I think the player should show a steadily high level to get a chance in the national team, Rebrov said.
The coach also explained the situation with the U-21 youth team, whose players are not involved in the main team. He noted that their participation in the European Championship in 2025. According to Rebrov, the coaching staff closely monitors the progress of young players, and many of them can soon replenish the main team.
We will remind, today, June 7, the national team of Ukraine will hold a friendly match against Canada. The game will take place in Toronto, start at 22:30 in Kiev time.
