The current US President Donald Trump has broken the record for the lowest support among the newly elected presidents in the first 100 days in office. According to a new CNN survey, only 41% of Americans have approved the actions of the Head of State-this is lower than any President since the Dvight of Eisenhauer, who had a similar figure of 37% in the 1950s.
It is even more alarming that only 22% of those polled support Trump completely, while 45% do not categorically approve of its policy. Party polarization persists: 86% of Republicans approve of the President, while 93% of democrats are against. Among politically neutral Americans, the approval rating has fallen up to 31%. Key causes of falling rating: inflation and price rise: only 35% support Trump's actions in this direction. Customs policy: 35% approval. Economics: 39% of support, discontent is increasing due to lack of real improvement. Foreign policy on Ukraine: 60% consider it unsuccessful. Migration: a little divided opinion - 46% "for", 53% - "against". Trust in state institutions: 42% say its reduction.
More than half of the respondents (52%) believe that Trump's second term will dramatically change the country for a long time. At the same time, 36% believe that changes will not have a long -term effect, and another 12% do not expect changes at all.
The Americans also ambiguously evaluated whether the president adheres to their election promises: 48% believe that Trump is being coping with, 51% - that not. Although 55% recognize that the President takes some steps to solve national problems, only 28% believe that these actions are already real results.
