Franco-Canadian director Danny Vilnev, known for the films "Dune", "Arrival" and "The one who runs along the blade 2049" will become the author of a new part of the cult franchise about James Bond. About it reports Variety with reference to the Prime Video platform.
The director commented that he grew up on movies about agent 007 and called his work on a new movie "Huge honor and responsibility." According to him, he intends to preserve the traditions of the series, while opening the space for new storylines and a modern rethinking of the image of Bond.
The project is created in collaboration with the producers Amy Pascal and David Gaiman. They have already announced the "new, fascinating head" Bondian during the Cinemacon exhibition in April.
