Three key areas - Kupyansk, Lymansky and Bakhmutsky - are the most fierce battles between Ukrainian troops and Russian invaders. The Commander of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces Alexander Sirsky said that Russian forces prevail both in military equipment and in personnel.
The Bakhmut direction remains especially important, in particular for Russian invaders, which use the most capable units of landing troops, Marines and Special Forces "Storm Z" and "Storm V" for assault operations. The main purpose of the enemy offensive in this direction is the capture of the settlement of the Yar times and further movement along the Donetsk region.
In the Lyman direction, Russian occupation troops are constantly attacking the positions of Ukrainian troops in the Makeevka and Ternov regions. Sirsky noted that the invaders actively use the equipment during attacks and suffer significant losses from Ukrainian defenders.
The assault actions of the Russian troops around Sinkivka, where the enemy tries to create a bridgehead for the future offensive on the city of Kupyansk, do not stop.
Syrsky emphasized that despite the difficult situation and advantage of the enemy, Ukrainian troops have successfully kept defense and inflict significant losses to the Russian forces. After announcing the great loss of the enemy in December, the commander noted that Ukraine focuses on minimizing losses among its servicemen and efficient use of various types of weapons, including artillery, mortars and shock drones.
According to the General Staff report, the Ukrainian military performed 21 successful defense operations in the Bakhmut direction, and also retain positions in the Kherson direction. The missile troops were blowing on the enemy remotely.
Syrsky also stressed that despite the daily loss, Russian invaders continue offensive actions, but the Ukrainian forces remain decisive and continue active defense.
