In the United Kingdom, the lonely "Santa Assistant" - North Elena named Sven - was able to find a couple until the next Christmas.
After the tragic loss of his friend by the name of Klaus, Sen was in a deep amount. The farm owner in Eastern Yorkshir, a 40-year-old junior school teacher, Susie Wright and her family, decided to find him a new company.
3-year-old Dorseet Dorsset was chosen by a new girlfriend for Sen, and it turned out that it was "love at first sight."
The Little Haven Farm farm in Yorkshire, purchased by Susie in October 2020, was already a home for northern deer Sven and Claus. These deer, also known as Caribou, in English folklore accompany Santa while giving gifts. Sun and Klaus even helped local students feel the atmosphere of Christmas during a pandemic.
However, in September this year, Klaus died suddenly, and Sven was divorced with him for a period of stag, when the males fight horns, determining their dominance. Sun, gentle and tied to people, risked to die of loneliness, so Susie started searching for a new partner on the Internet.
With the help of fundraising on social networks, Fermi managed to raise £ 4,000. Daisy was found in Dorsset, and after overcoming more than 400 kilometers, she found a new house near Sun in Yorkshire.
Initially, the meeting between Sun and Daisy was a little nervous, but they quickly found common ground and now share food and spend the night together. It is hoped that they can become parents in the future.
"We did not look for the female for this purpose, but nature is amazing. We will see what will happen," Susie adds, the farm owner.
