Robert Fitso threatens Ukraine with the termination of electricity supply

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo made a statement in which Ukraine was terminated by the termination of electricity supply. This was a reaction to the transit stop of Russian gas through the Ukrainian territory.

"After January 1, we will evaluate the situation and possible mutual measures against Ukraine. If necessary, we will stop the supply of electricity, which is urgently needed by Ukraine during light shutdowns," Fitzo said.

Such words of the Prime Minister have caused considerable resonance, as Ukraine depends on the supply of electricity, especially in the conditions of energy crisis and regular attacks on infrastructure.

Earlier, the Prosecutor General's Office of Slovakia announced that Robert Fitzo's actions, including his probable ties with Russian structures, were checking. This step demonstrates increasing pressure on the head of government through its political rhetoric and possible links with the Kremlin.

Fitzo's statement also sounded against the backdrop of international criticism of his government, which is increasingly occupying pro -Russian positions. This is anxiety in neighboring countries and among Slovakia partners in the EU.

Ukraine is still refrained from a rigid answer, but energy cooperation between countries has been threatened.
