Rockstar has officially announced the release of a cult cowboy action Red Dead Redemption on computers. The release will take place on October 29, 2024, and the game page is already available on the Steam platform.
Improvement for PC
Interestingly it will not be just a straight port from PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. PC version RDR will receive a number of significant improvements including:
- Support for resolution up to 4k
- Frequency of frames up to 144 FPS
- Compatibility with ultra -type monitors (21: 9 and 32: 9)
The developers also introduced advanced technologies, such as NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0, as well as the function of generating NVIDIA DLSS. Players will be able to adjust the quality of shadows, drawing distances and other graphics elements to optimize the game process.
Content and plot
The PC will include a set that includes the Red Dead Redemption and UNDEAD NIGHTMare . In this supplement, players will be able to feel John Marston looking for a cure for the zombie virus epidemic. However, the multiplayer will not be available in this set - only a single campaign.
It should be noted that the plot, the first part of the RDR continues the history of the second part, although it was released 8 years earlier. This means that for a better understanding of the series, you should start with the first Red Dead Redemption .
Continuation of development
Rockstar itself is currently active on GTA 6 , which is scheduled for the fall of 2025. According to some origins, the studio is engaged in the development of Red Dead Redemption 3 , which promises to continue a successful series.
