In the conflict zone in the east of Ukraine, there is again an aggravation of the situation, which indicates the massive offensive actions of the Russian troops, said the spokesman of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction, Oleksandr Shtupun. In the last day, 72 combat clashes were recorded, which is a record number. The main actions of the enemy are aimed at the Avdiyiv and Mariinsky directions, where armored vehicles and aviation are used. The enemy carried out 15 airstrikes during the day.
According to Shtupun, the losses of the Russian troops already reach almost 400 people, while they lost 11 tanks and 15 armored vehicles. It is important to note that the enemy throws personnel into battle without equipment, and they are forced to remove protective equipment from wounded and dead soldiers.
As of December 11, the total losses of the Russian army amount to almost 340,000 soldiers. Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated more than a thousand occupiers. About 50 assault actions were recorded, which took place simultaneously in different directions.
The spokesman emphasized that the enemy has sufficient human resources and actively uses armored vehicles, so it is necessary to remain vigilant and not underestimate its capabilities. Attempts to capture Avdiyivka and Maryinka are expected in the near future.
