The above command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated on Monday that Russian troops were carrying out continuous attacks, trying to advance to the city of Pokrovsk, a logistics center in the east of the country, and that active fighting is ongoing along the front line.
Over the last 24 hours, Russia has made 39 attacks in the Pokrovsky direction out of 117, registered in general along the front line, the Ukrainian military reported in its daily warfare.
The agency reminds that according to open reconnaissance maps of hostilities, Pokrovsk is located less than 25 km from the territories engaged in Russian troops, and is located at the intersection of road and iron roads, which makes it an important point of material and technical support for military and civilians in eastern Ukraine.
